Long-arm machine quilting has been a part of my life since I was a freshman in high school, and even though there have been seasons of life when I haven’t quilting a lot, I’m always glad when I’m able to quilt.
In addition to quilting I also enjoy sewing, knitting, altering clothing, and making a variety of hand-made items. The topics I blog about alternate between long-arm quilting I am doing for myself or clients, and documenting the different projects I am working on.
Here’s a few fun facts about myself:
- Quilting makes me happy. No surprise there!
- I’m a mid-west girl through and through… and I actually love snow – especially in November when my birthday is!
- My husband and I met in Italy while studying abroad in college
- I have three children who add lots of laughter and adventure to life
- If you don’t find me quilting or working on projects, you’ll probably find me reading a book
